Salma Tarik is a high energy Soccer coach and trainer with a lifetime in athletics and over four years in coaching whose primary focus is to inspire athletes to do their very best. Salma offers a comprehensive background in physical education, fitness, injury prevention and motivational techniques. As a Soccer Coach and former professional athlete, Salma guides and empowers each student to reach their optimum athletic and personal success.  Salma was a member of the U-18 Egyptian National team in both 2007 and 2011. During the 2007 season Salma participated in the Olympic qualifying match against Congo, playing in both Cairo and Congo. Tarik started her collegiate career at California State University Northridge in 2007, where she appeared in all 18 games, including 17 starts. She finished the year with three goals and two assists. Two of her three goals came against teams, which qualified for the College cup (UCLA, Florida State). 

In 2008 Salma transferred to Hofstra University where she became the third highest scorer in Hofstra history, scoring 28 goals in three years. In 2009 Ms. Tarik was First Team All-CAA (Colonial Athletic Association), Second Team All-Mid Atlantic Region and was nominated for the Soccer News Net Women's College Player of the Year Award. In 2010 Salma was again First Team All-CAA, First Team All-Mid Atlantic Region and was again prestigiously nominated for the Soccer News Net Women's College Player of the Year Award. Tarik was a First Team All-League selection in soccer in 2003 & 2004, while earning the Player Of The Year Award as a senior and has WPSL playing experience, as she was a Team Of The Week selection with the Los Angeles Rampage (now LAFC Chelsea) in 2008.

In 2010 Salma joined the Long Island Fury under the watchful eye of Paul Riley and then in 2011 joined the Long Island Ruff Riders also known as the Long Island Lady Riders as a forward. Currently Ms. Tarik is the Assistant Coach to the Men's Soccer team at Mercy College and is the Head Soccer Counselor for NOGA soccer. Ms Tarik currently holds a Class "E" coaching license.
